A committal date has been set for a Waikato horse breeder charged with murdering his wife.
Gregory Meads, 54, was accused of murdering Helen Meads, 42, at their rural property near Matamata in September.
The mother of three was found dead from a single gunshot wound to the stomach on September 23.
In Hamilton District Court today Meads was remanded in custody for a committal hearing in December.
