A trial date has been set for June next year for two men charged with manslaughter of a man who fell to his death from the balcony of an Auckland apartment.
Barry Harwood, 64, and Michael Manga, 37, appeared at the High Court in Auckland today accused of the killing of Paul Stewart Kingi, 57, on March 10.
They were both remanded on bail to reappear at the High Court in Auckland for another call-over on August 11.
Manga has previously pleaded not guilty, and Harwood has not yet entered a plea.
Mr Kingi died from blunt force head trauma after he fell from a balcony at Pt England, 14km southeast of downtown Auckland.
Harwood and Manga were initially charged with assault, but these charges were later upgraded to manslaughter.
