Daredevils have taken on the steepest street in the world, riding drift trikes down Dunedin's Baldwin St.
A group of thrillseekers posted a video on social media yesterday showing the young men riding trikes at high speed down the hill.
Wearing helmets and gloves, they finally slid to a stop at the end of the street.
Dunedin police were unable to comment last night but a spokesman said he would refer the reports to Southern District road policing manager Senior Sergeant Steve Larking.
