The Auckland City Council will cancel the third Dancing in the Street event because it has become so popular that it poses a risk to public safety.
The free dance party has outgrown its location in Lorne St, in front of the Auckland Public Library, and the council says there is not enough time to find a suitable alternative.
The third and final in the series had been scheduled for March 17.
