New Zealand veterans are set to mark the 65th anniversary of World War Two's D-Day landings in Normandy.
In Europe, New Zealand military attaches are among those gathering in northern France to commemorate the 1944 assault which won back control of France from the Germans. 10,000 New Zealanders from the Air Force and Navy took part in the landings.
Ceremonies are taking place at some RSAs throughout New Zealand this weekend, but the main ceremony will be at the National War Memorial in the capital at 11am tomorrow.
