Child Youth and Family (CYF) staff around the country went on strike for 48 hours yesterday, demanding a significant pay rise at rallies in Auckland, Wellington and Rolleston, south of Christchurch.
About 350 CYF members of the National Union of Public Employees are seeking a 20 per cent wage increase.
