Child, Youth and Family staff have improved their response to child abuse notifications, despite a sharp increase in cases in the past year, says the CYF annual report.
It shows abuse notifications rose to 53,000 in the June year from 43,000 in the year before.
Despite this rise, response times improved slightly and investigations were completed more quickly
