Cyclist killed in Christchurch crash named

The cyclist killed at an Christchurch intersection this morning has been named by police.
Christchurch woman Joanne Marjorie Drummond, 54, was killed at the intersection of Breezes Rd and Wainoni Rd shortly after 9am today.
Initial enquries indicate that she was hit by a car which was turning into Breezes
Rd from Wainoni Rd.
An inquiry is ongoing and police said it was too early to know the cause of the crash.
The driver of the car will be interviewed by police later this week and several witnesses have provided statements.
