A car and bicycle have been involved in a serious crash in Greymouth on the South Island's West Coast.
Police said they had been called to the crash on Bright St in the suburb of Cobden at 8.45pm.
However, they did not have "confirmed injuries at this stage".
Bright St has now been closed with motorists advised to avoid the area.
