A cyclist was taken to hospital following a collision with a vehicle near the intersection of Glenorchy Pl and Merriman Pl in Pyes Pa this morning.
Emergency services were notified at 7.50am and the Serious Crash Unit has been notified, a police spokesperson said.
One ambulance, one operations manager, and one rapid response unit attended.
The patient was taken to Tauranga Hospital.
