A cyclist involved in a training camp bust-up failed last night to overturn his omission from Australia's Olympics team.
Junior world champion Ben Kersten was crash-tackled by Darryn Hill at a training camp in Colorado on August 11 while both were riding around the track, arguing about the length of the warm-up session.
Two days later Hill was selected in the Australian four-man sprint team for next month's Sydney Games.
The 18-year-old Kersten was left out and immediately appealed.
Cycling Australia fined Hill $A4000 ($5284) and put him on a 12-month probation.
