Two people have been charged with importing pseudoephedrine after Customs seized more than 2500 tablets.
Police searched two houses in Newtown, a suburb of Wellington, yesterday and arrested a man and a woman, both Chinese nationals aged 23.
They will appear in Wellington District Court on March 24.
Pseudoephedrine is used to make methamphetamine, known as speed.
