KEY POINTS:
Deputy Prime Minister Michael Cullen leaves on Saturday to visit China, Britain and India. His two-week mission is to highlight economic opportunities and foster research links.
"I see tremendous potential in building closer links with China, the United Kingdom and India - each very important economies in their own right and home to many world-class centres of research," he said yesterday.
Dr Cullen, who is Minister of Finance and Minister for Tertiary Education, will meet senior ministers in the three countries.
