Tough questions are expected at this week's inquest into the deaths of those who died in Christchurch's CTV building as a result of the February earthquake.
The three day inquest into the 106 deaths starts at Riccarton Racecourse this morning.
Family members will be able to ask questions, and CTV reporter Emily Cooper says many want information on the structural integrity of the building.
"There obviously was a few staff members that had concerns about the building so hopefully that will clear a few things up but at the same time we're just concerned about the families and hope this will give them some more closure."
Dozens of family members, foreign media and international diplomats are expected at the hearing.
