Cruise liner chartered for Lions fans

A cruise liner has been chartered to take about 1000 Lions rugby tour supporters around the country as they follow the team's tour and visit tourist spots this winter.

The Pacific Sky has been chartered by Gullivers Travel for two weeks of the Lions tour from June 21 to July 7.

All main meals and entertainment will be included in the fare.

Because of the charter, P&O Cruises has withdrawn two eight-night winter South Pacific voyages.

A small number of passengers already booked on the two shorter cruises aboard the Pacific Sky have been offered special deals.
