The High Court in Napier has reserved its decision on whether cop killer Jan Molenaar's house should be forfeited to the Crown.
The Solicitor-General applied to the court to have the house in Chaucer Road, Napier, where Molenaar killed Senior Constable Len Snee and seriously wounded two other police officers and a civilian in May 2009, forfeited under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Molenaar killed himself after a two-day siege and the forfeiture was opposed by his partner, Delwyn Keefe.
The Crown claimed that the pair ran a cannabis operation from the house, making profits worth more than the value of the property.
