We are looking for a Growing Specialist who is self driven, has exceptional work ethic and prides themselves in delivering outstanding vegetables crops or someone who has basic agricultural experience and is eager to learn and develop within the growing industry.
The key attributes for this position are:
·Oversee land preparation and planting
·Manage all aspects of crop health
·Supervise harvest and storage
·Ability to work flexible and long hours
Applicants much have the following:
·Recent Graduate with relevant tertiary education and/or 2-3 years agricultural experience, preferably in vegetable production.
·Eye for detail and be able to work unsupervised
·Be physically fit and willing to be hands on
·Communication skills to work with both staff and landowners along with computer literacy.
·Financial competency to understand costs, yields and profitability.
·Full driver's license is required.
The successful applicant will be provided with company vehicle, cell phone and remuneration commensurate with experience.
