A deformed pet frog with six legs is still worth $100 dead.
Brett Wilson, 7, found the green tree frog on a farm near Te Awamutu and called it "Frog".
Hamilton biologist Nick Ling offered the boy $100 for the frog but Brett wanted to keep it as a pet. But "Frog" has croaked and Dr Ling still wants its remains - for $100, the Waikato Times reports.
"I still want to buy it if it is not too badly decomposed," Dr Ling said.
