A man who allegedly skipped his home detention address and evaded police for weeks will appear in the North Shore District Court tomorrow.
On February 4 police told the Herald that Desmond Bourne, 39, had fled his approved address and was on the run in the Rodney area, north of Auckland.
It is understood Bourne was located and arrested earlier this week. He is being held in police custody until his court appearance, where he will face charges including breaching home detention, theft of an electronically monitored ankle bracelet and drug offending.
Police could not comment as the matter was before the courts.
