A man has been arrested in relation to the aggravated robbery of a Gisborne dairy yesterday.
Police said the Huxley Rd Dairy was held up yesterday about 6.15am by a man toting a "long sharp weapon" who threatened the shop worker and left with some items.
The shop worker chased the robber from the shop. The worker was not injured but was left shaken by the incident.
A 17-year-old man was arrested last night and charged with aggravated robbery.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear in the Gisborne District Court tomorrow.
