The father of former wanted man Ross Bremner is now in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Keith Bremner was taken to Waikato Hospital after his son stabbed him in a shocking incident in Otorohanga about two weeks ago.
Keith's wife, Clare Bremner, was fatally injured in the attack and is set to be farewelled together with her son, who was later found dead alongside the slain bodies of Mona Tuwhangai, 82, and Maurice O'Donnell, 72.
Keith Bremner had initially suffered critical injuries in the attack.
Late this afternoon, the Waikato District Health Board reported he was now in a serious but stable condition.
