The south Auckland father accused of murdering his twin sons last year will know in June if he will stand trial.
Chris Kahui, 21, appeared briefly in the Manukau District Court today and was remanded on bail until June 18 for a two-week depositions hearing to decide if he should go the High Court for trial.
He was charged with murdering his three-month old sons, Chris and Cru in June last year after they were taken to hospital and died five days later from head injuries.
In court today Kahui appeared in the dock for about two minutes before he was remanded.
He refused to comment as he left the court with his family.
