Wanted man Kershaw Howard, who robbed a North Shore dairy at gunpoint, was arrested this morning.
Howard had warrants for his arrest for aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm related to a robbery with a shotgun at a Birkdale dairy on November 12.
The warrant was executed by Police and the Armed Offenders Squad at the end of last month.
Howard was found at a Papakura address this morning where he attempted to flee before being apprehended by a police dog team just before 9am.
He was taken to Middlemore Hospital for treatment for a dog bite and is under police guard.
