A man who allegedly tried to grab a police officer's taser has been declined bail.
Shane Oswald Solomon is accused of disorderly behaviour and assaulting police, which he has pleaded not guilty to in the Whanganui District Court.
He appeared on Tuesday for a bail application before Judge Philip Crayton.
Solomon is alleged to have been at a gathering on April 16 where police ended up tasering people.
While an officer had a taser deployed on someone else, Solomon is said to have gone up behind the officer, grabbed the back of his vest, and tried to snatch the taser out of his hand.
