Gable Tostee has taken to Facebook to complain about the torrent of abuse he receives online.
Tostee, 31, was found not guilty of murdering 26-year-old New Zealand tourist Warriena Wright, after she fell from the balcony of his 14th floor Gold Coast apartment in 2014.
Since then he has reappeared on Tinder and created a new Facebook profile under the name Eric Thomas, where he yesterday posted examples of online abuse.
"Just a few examples of the kind of abuse I get from strangers I have never met," he wrote.
"For someone who has never harmed anyone, has zero history of violence, and who was found by the courts to be innocent in a trial that never should have happened, why do I deserve this?"
One message called Tostee a "maggot" and suggested he should not be back online. Others derided him as a "murderer" and suggested he be castrated.
"Someone meet up with him and put a hammer in his head problem solved," one read. "Nah cut his body up one by one while he's still alive first start by pulling out his teeth," read another.
Many accused him of being a "psycho" or devoid of feelings, or asked whether he had "sexual problems".
A long list of Tostee's female followers responded to the post, saying it was awful and he didn't deserve such treatment.
"This is absolutely disgusting, report them all babe, people with a half a brain know what has happened. It's unfortunate and you should be allowed to move on without this bigotry and gross abuse!! Rise abov, you know you're better than this," Carley J De Alwis said.
Indi Rhian said: "They've never spent a second with you! They have no idea what they're talking about. I hope you don't listen to them."
It comes just days after Tostee's new Tinder profile was spotted by a Gold Coast woman, and reported to The Daily Telegraph.
The Tinder profile also uses his new name of Eric Thomas.
One image shows Tostee lying shirtless in bed and another is of the 31-year-old partaking in a food contest.
"Shhh don't tell Channel 9," the profile read, referring to the media attention surrounding the death of Wright and his subsequent trial.
Tostee has previously accused Channel 9 of having "ruined his life," the The Daily Telegraph. said.
Tostee was charged with murder and manslaughter but found not guilty on both counts in October after a jury deliberated for four days.
Following the verdict, questions were raised as to whether the charges were appropriate - given Tostee did not directly cause Miss Wright's death.
