JAIPUR, India - Australia will enter day two of their low-key practice fixture against a Rajasthan Academy XI needing to improve on-field but also wondering how their tour of India may change as a result of the latest bombing in New Delhi.
The players were briefed last night about the blast that ripped through a flower market in the southern part of the city, killing at least one person and wounding about 15 others.
Concern about the bombing was not limited to the tourists either, with officials from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said to have been in earnest overnight discussions with Indian government about the security of the capital.
Yesterday's attack was the second in a fortnight, after 24 people were killed in a series of five co-ordinated blasts on September 13, also a Saturday.
Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla ground is scheduled to host the third test of the four-match series from October 29.
In Jaipur, the Australians appear to have the job ahead of them to acclimatise after falling foul of the modest academy side for 218 all out on their first playing day of the tour.
