If you've ever dreamed of having a wine made specifically to suit your own palate, Jacob's Creek could make that a reality. The popular Australian wine brand is offering the public an opportunity to collaborate with a winemaker to create a blend tailored to their own tastes at a pop-up "Jacob's Creek Blend" experience, which opens today at Britomart.
A Jacob's Creek winemaker will be on hand to help visitors create their own red or white blend out of a combination of up to four of the most popular Jacob's Creek varieties. Their exact blend will then be created by the Jacob's Creek Blend machine and bottled on the spot with a personalised label to take away with you.
If you can't make it to Britomart, Jacob's Creek has launched its virtual Blend bar - jacobscreekblend.co.nz, offering online visitors an opportunity to create their own blend.
Blend by Jacob's Creek runs until February 15, from noon daily at Takutai Square, Britomart. It costs $20, which includes a 750ml bottle of your bespoke blend to take away.
