KEY POINTS:
A truck has crashed through the median barrier on Auckland's Southern Motorway near Papakura.
Inspector Christopher Tate said the truck was blocking northbound and southbound lanes and diversions were in place.
St John Ambulance team leader Murray Bannister said two people were transported, one with serious injuries and another with moderate injuries.
He said sand, carried by the truck, was all over the motorway, which would not be open for a while.
