Two people were cut from their vehicle following a crash in Otago last night.
Two vehicles collided on State Highway 1 at Waitati, 19km north of Dunedin, southern fire communications shift manager Riwai Grace said.
The two people who were cut from their vehicle were taken to hospital with injuries, he said.
"If you're driving anywhere, the roads are quite busy, so take care because there seems to be a lot of crazy driving going on at the moment."
