The ashes of a 25-year-old Finnish student who died in a light aircraft crash near Dargaville on November 25 are being flown home this weekend for burial in her home village of Ii in northern Finland.
Jaana Koskela, who graduated only a week before her trip, was cremated on Thursday.
A Lord of the Rings fan, she came to spend a year visiting the trilogy's various film locations.
