A crash has blocked the part of the Southern Motorway after Tip Top corner, in Mt Wellington.
The southbound left lane is blocked and the New Zealand Transport Agency has advised motorists to pass with care.
Delays are expected.
Also on the motorway, congestion is heavy for northbound traffic between the Victoria Park tunnel and the Harbour Bridge.
This is due to an earlier incident in the northbound left lane of the bridge, which has not been cleared.
