KEY POINTS:
Photographs are being auctioned online to pay for the headstones of three children who died in a van being driven by their mother.
Kathie Rifle, of Palmerston North, was driving a van containing her four children when it crashed off State Highway 56 near Palmerston North last September.
Two of the children, Ashlie, 3, and Hikurangi, 1, died at the scene. Another child, Hannah, 5, died in Palmerston North Hospital hours later.
Now Rob Wilson has posted the photographs, showing scenes including a sand yacht on Waikanae Beach and Lake Taupo at sunset, on Trade Me.
He says he is Ms Rifle's brother and that the money raised will go towards paying for headstones for his two nieces and his nephew.
Bids for the photographs were running at $100 this afternoon.
Ms Rifle was disqualified from driving for nine months after pleading guilty in the Palmerston North District Court in March to three counts of careless driving causing death and one of careless driving causing injury.
She appeared on TV One's Sunday programme last night.
