One person is dead and three others are in a serious condition after a crash in Canterbury last night.
Emergency services were called to State Highway 75, Tai Tapu, in the Selwyn District about 10.45pm.
Police said one person was killed and three people had been transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
