A two-car collision between a ute and a car caused major headaches for drivers heading over the hill after Carterton's Daffodil Festival yesterday afternoon.
Drivers were forced into a 3km tailback while emergency services cleaned up the crash, which took place near the Number 7 bridge on the Rimutaka Hill Rd at about 3.30pm.
Cars were backed up into Featherston, with drivers facing delays of up to half an hour.
Police said three people involved in the crash received minor injuries.
