A drunken New Zealand driver who injured four generations of one family in a head-on crash in Victoria five years ago has lost an appeal against his six-year jail sentence.
Brendon Healey, 28, was driving on the wrong side of the road north of Melbourne when he smashed into a car being driven by Elissa Wilkie on October 7, 2003.
Ms Wilkie, her 7-year-old daughter Jordynne Wilkie, mother Jennifer Cowell and grandmother Valda Bathman were all seriously injured.
