All lanes on the Auckland harbour bridge are now open after a multiple car crash on a north bound lane, the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) said.
But motorists have been warned to expect delays.
In a series of tweets, the NZTA advised drivers to avoid the bridge, after a crash blocked the right lane of the north-bound clip-on.
"Traffic congestion is back to Auckland City and heavy N-Bnd on the Sthn Mwy from Penrose. Take alternate route and avoid SH1," it posted.
"All lanes on Auckland Harbour now OPEN. Expect long #delays, consider taking SH16/18."
