Traffic is backed up on Auckland's Northwestern motorway after a collision between a truck and a car.
The accident happened on the city-bound lane of the SH16, 300m from the Lincoln Rd off-ramp where two lanes have had been closed.
The crash forced the car onto the median barrier where occupants suffered moderate to minor injuries.
Police and emergency services are at the scene and are urging people to avoid the area while the crash is cleared.
Motorists can exit on the Te Atatu off ramp and use Central Park Drive and Lincoln Rd to get back on the motorway heading north.
