KEY POINTS:
A crane has toppled over at the Tararua wind farm near Palmerston North this morning.
It is understood the vehicle's brakes failed while it was negotiating a hilly section of road just before 10am.
The crane's driver suffered leg and wrist injuries, as well as shock.
The Fire Service has been called to deal with small fuel leak at the site.
