Hawke's Bay had two new Covid-19 cases on Monday, bringing the total number of active cases in the community to 28.
It is understood that one of the cases is a staff member at Colwyn House Lifecare, Hastings, and both cases are linked to a previously established Delta case.
On Monday, the Ministry of Health announced 91 new cases of Covid cases in the community - and 39 in MIQ.
Ten people were in hospital with the virus, the average age of patients being 54.
MOH also announced several passenger rows on an Air NZ flight as Covid 19 contact tracing locations of interest.
