Police have made another three arrests for breaches of the lockdown, as the number of people flouting the rules increase.
Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen, of Dunedin, said a 51-year-old man was arrested in Brockville yesterday after he entered a Brockville shop, spat on the counter and then left.
Another man was arrested yesterday morning in Stenhope Crescent after he was caught driving around Dunedin without purpose.
He said a 44-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was arrested after numerous warnings about breaking the lockdown rules.
