KEY POINTS:
A court martial began today for an army officer who faces three charges, including one of indecent assault on a female officer.
The man, who has name suppression, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The charges related to an incident at an army training course in 2007, Radio New Zealand reported.
The first witness for the prosecution was the woman at the centre of the allegations.
She told the court the man came into her quarters uninvited and kissed her, before later exposing himself.
The hearing is set down to continue for the next two days at Trentham Army Camp, north of Wellington.
