Court date for murder accused

A man accused of murdering and dismembering Auckland woman Carmen Thomas will appear in court by video link next week.

Bradford James Joseph Callaghan was arrested and charged with killing Ms Thomas, his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his 5-year-old son, in September.

He will appear in Auckland District Court on Tuesday and is expected to enter a plea to the murder charge.
