The Maritime Safety Authority is still not revealing what charges it is bringing against fishing company Sealord over the death of Nelson man Hugh Hope.
Authority spokeswoman Heidi Brook said the court date, which was scheduled for today, had been adjourned until May 11 to allow Sealord more time to prepare.
"We have the charges but we can't give any of those until after the first call," she said.
Nelson District Court was also unable to supply the charges this week.
Mr Hope, 60, died in September last year after being trapped for 17 hours in a processing machine aboard the Sealord factory trawler in the southern ocean.
