Two Westport men will appear in court next month on charges of possession and use of methamphetamine and cannabis following the police raid of a Fonblanque Street property yesterday.
Armed offenders squad members were among a convoy of about nine police vehicles which travelled from Greymouth yesterday morning to help execute a search warrant at the address.
Westport sergeant Malcolm Lamont said utensils and a small amount of drugs were recovered from the property.
The two men, aged 25 and 27, were bailed to appear in Westport District Court next month, he said.
Mr Lamont said police executed a second drugs-related search warrant on another Westport property yesterday afternoon.
