Five people accused of offences that led to the fatal bashing of Featherston man Glen Jones in January have been remanded for a plea evaluation conference.
Matthew John McKinney, 28, Hayden Ranson, 27 and Kristofer Lee Jones, 23, who are facing murder charges, appeared in Masterton District Court today. The attendance of Tariana Jones, also charged with Mr Jones' murder, was excused.
Tariana Jones is on bail while the three others are in custody.
A fifth person, Toni Miller, 22, who has been charged with aggravated robbery arising from the same incident, will appear alongside the others for a plea evaluation on May 27. She is also on bail.
Judge Bill Hastings agreed to the curfew imposed on Miller being lifted for May 6 and 7 to allow her to take a child to Auckland's Starship Children's Hospital.
