Two brothers working for a courier firm who failed to deliver parcels including Scottish single malt whisky and iPads have lost their jobs and been fined.
Gulati Sumit, 31, and Auluck Sumit, 28, were driving for a Christchurch-based courier company over the last year.
They were tasked to pick up items from the firm's depot and deliver them to various addresses in the city.
But they took Cragganmore whisky, iPads, tablets, other electronics, perfume and food items home for their own use, Christchurch District Court heard today.
They both admitted charges of theft by a person in a special relationship.
