A courier van lost control and crashed into a barrier on a Hutt Valley motorway this morning.
Police said one of the van's two occupants suffered minor injuries, including a cut to the foot, after the crash on State Highway 2 north of the Aotea Quay exit about 4.45am.
Emergency services closed the southbound lanes while contractors cleared debris and removed the vehicle.
The lanes had reopened to commuter traffic before 6.30am.
Police said there was some damage to the median barrier and a barricade had been put in place.
