Food safety investigators say up to 10 countries have imported meat from the cattle a Northland farmer sprayed with a plant pesticide.
South Korea has banned imports of beef processed by Affco Moerewa after Endosulfan was found in a consignment of meat from the Northland plant.
About 3200kg in 127 cartons was exported to Korea and another 900kg in 77 cartons to Taiwan, where all but one has been tracked and withdrawn.
About 1000 cartons have been traced and held in New Zealand.
