KEY POINTS:
Tens of thousands of dollars were been taken in an aggravated robbery of a supermarket in south-east Auckland last night.
Police said more details would be released later today but confirmed the robbery was at the Countdown Supermarket on the corner of Te Irirangi Dr and Te Rakau Dr in Botany Downs.
The robbery was late last night and police said they had security camera footage of the two men who robbed the supermarket.
The supermarket was closed for much of the morning while police investigated.
