South Wairarapa District Council is conducting a survey of its residents to actively seek public opinion and involvement.
Keep an ear out for the phone as your feedback is wanted by the South Wairarapa District Council.
The council is conducting a survey of its residents to actively seek public opinion and involvement.
"We have a responsibility to track how well our efforts are carrying through to our residents,"
said Paul Crimp, CEO of the council. "The best way to do this is to interview a representative cross-section of residents, and to have this done by an independent professional group to ensure impartiality."
People living in all three wards of the district will be phoned, using a randomised selection method, and asked their opinions on a wide ranging list of services, council issues and the services it delivers to residents.
An independent research company has been commissioned to undertake the survey and report to the council.
