Keep an ear out for the phone as your feedback is wanted by the South Wairarapa District Council.
The council is conducting a survey of its residents to actively seek public opinion and involvement.
"We have a responsibility to track how well our efforts are carrying through to our residents," said Paul Crimp, CEO of the council. "The best way to do this is to interview a representative cross-section of residents, and to have this done by an independent professional group to ensure impartiality."
People living in all three wards of the district will be phoned, using a randomised selection method, and asked their opinions on a wide ranging list of services, council issues and the services it delivers to residents.
An independent research company has been commissioned to undertake the survey and report to the council.
